Half Double-Ended Tuning Fork design of the sensing element of a magnetometer, and its deformation mode
A Half Double-Ended Tuning Fork design for the sensing part of a Lorentz force magnetometer was adopted as a reference, and optimized in order to simultaneously maximize mechanical sensitivity and bandwidth, and to minimize power consumption and Brownian noise-limited resolution. A reduced-order model was also introduced ad-hoc, to speed up the analysis.
